Share the Warmth with Coats for Kids & Families

A warm winter coat can make a meaningful difference for a neighbor facing a difficult season. For the 17th year, Jordan’s Furniture is proud to partner with Caring Partners, Anton’s Cleaners and Rockland Trust on Coats for Kids & Families, helping children and adults across our communities stay warm.

The mission is simple: “Anyone who needs a coat will have one.”

Since the program began in 1995, Coats for Kids & Families has collected, cleaned and distributed more than 1.3 million coats. That impact starts with a simple act of generosity: giving a coat you no longer need to someone who does.

Give a Coat. Help a Neighbor.

Through January 9, bring new or gently used, good-quality winter coats to any Jordan’s Furniture store. Coats are needed in all sizes, with a particular need for XL and infant/pre-K sizes.

Please donate coats that are warm, clean and wearable, with working zippers and no rips, tears or permanent stains. Sweatshirts, vests, spring coats, boots, scarves and gloves cannot be accepted.

From Your Donation to Their Door

Our J-Team helps keep the effort moving by transporting donated coats to Anton’s Cleaners, where every coat is professionally cleaned at no charge. Throughout the collection season, coats are distributed through registered community partners—including schools, nonprofits, shelters and social service agencies—to reach children, individuals and families who need them.

It’s one more way Jordan’s puts “We Care… A Lot” into action, bringing our team, customers and community partners together to support our neighbors.

Have a coat to give? Stop by your local Jordan’s Furniture store and help share the warmth this winter. Schools, businesses and community groups can also make a difference by hosting a coat drive.
