Jordan’s Sleep Labs is proud to feature a luxury Farm To Bedroom bedding collection by Spink & Edgar. These mattresses feature ALL NATURAL materials grown on their own farm in the countryside of Yorkshire, England using the hemp and flax (or linen) from their fields, in combination with the wool sheered from their own herd of sheep. These comfort materials are brought over and hand crafted right here in the U.S.A. Spink & Edgar is the recipient of two awards from the Queen of England; one for innovation and another for sustainability.
Give Your Body A Proper Hug
In order to create a bed that feels unlike anything being offered today, Spink & Edgar use coils that were specially designed by one of their founders Simon Spinks. Up to 9000 of these micro coils can be found in Spink & Edgar mattresses, hugging every curve of your body for a unique comfort feel while providing adaptable support for your back.
Sleeping Cool The Natural Way
Foam acts as an insulator for heat, which is one of the reasons you won’t find it in these beds. Spink & Edgar use Angora Wool, Alpaca Fleece, Yorkshire Wool and Egyptian Cotton to create supple layers of comfort that will greet you each night you climb into bed. Working together with our micro coils that allow air-flow for cooler sleep, our wool fibers are among the most moisture wicking and breathable natural materials on Earth.
The Spink and Edgar brand was established back in 1885 by Arthur Spink and Joseph Longley in Leeds England. They believed that a great hand made mattress was essential to a great quality of life. The Spink and Edgar beds later evolved as Simon Spinks started growing these beds on a 300 acre farm in the countryside of Yorkshire, England.
In 2015 the Quinn and Ellman families brought Spink and Edgar to the United States using those same materials grown on the family farm in England but they build them right here in the United States.
