We had come down to see this table at least 3 times & were very hesitant in purchasing this and the matching tables; the price was quite out of our league but we were under the impression this store was quality, the salesman was convincing there would be no issues as all items were inspected before delivery.

In the showroom it looked so well built and appointed in details however the edges of the iron rivets were scraped. We were moving into our house and didn't have sufficient lighting, sadly discovering the scrapes long after the delivery team left.

We were disappointed to see these "riveted studs" were actually thinly painted metals. My wife wanted to call immediately to complain on this expensive table, but I just didn't want to be bothered so we live with it. We are so sick of having bad luck at the hands of furniture stores, we let it go. The wood finish is beautiful but very disappointed on the quality of what we thought was black metal, not painted.

We also got the 2 matching end tables had the same issues. Way to expensive for all 3 pieces to have defects like that.. When did that happen? Was it already damaged like that before the delivery team got it? We were told items were "inspected" before the team delivers it.

Due to the disappointment we ended up going to another quality furniture store for the rest of our furniture needs. Hoped for the best but ended up the same old, same old aggravation.

Looks great in room, works great with recliners because the wheels make moving it easy!
