Cradles to Crayons "Ready for School"
Getting local kids in-need ready to learn from head to toe.
The 2018 Cradles to Crayons “Ready For School” collection drive has officially come to a close. We will begin accepting like-new and new school clothes for area in-need children again next year. Please check back next summer for all details. Thank you!
You can help local children in-need get ready to learn from head to toe by donating new or like-new clothes and shoes during Jordan’s Furniture’s annual collection drive at all locations. Every year, Jordan's Furniture, in partnership with Cradles To Crayons, wants to make sure that every child will start the school year off on the right foot. Customers can bring their new or like-new school clothes and shoes to any Jordan's location, including the Taunton Distribution Center, during the designated months. Cradles To Crayons' "Ready For School" program makes sure that the donations help children (infant to 12 years old) living in homeless or low-income situations.
Accepted clothing includes pants, shirts, sweatshirts, pajamas (new only), socks (new only) and undergarments (new only). Youth sizes 0-18/20. Accepted footwear include school shoes and sneakers (sizes infant to adult 10).
Cradles to Crayons believes that Quality = Dignity and strives to help every child feel valued, so please donate new or like-new, high-quality items. No rips, stains, or tears. Donated items are distributed through local partnering social service agencies in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, including Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the Greater Boston Food Bank, Children & Family Services of NH, Children’s Friend in RI, and CT DCF.
Your participation will make "back to school" mean so much more for some great kids!
