‘Lend a Hand’ Programs

Jordan’s Furniture provides J-Team members access to an Employee Assistance Program, an Adoption Assistance Reimbursement Program, a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, and a Legal Assistance Program. Here are some key characteristics of each of those programs:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—The EAP is a free, confidential service designed to assist employees with information and resources to balance the demands of work and personal life. The EAP will help you find quality daycare for your children, assist you with caring for an elderly parent, or even advise you with legal or financial issues.

  • Ultimate Legal Plan—Full-time employees may purchase comprehensive managed legal services for themselves (and their dependents) for common legal matters, like closing on a home, preparing a will, or sorting through an inheritance.

  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account—Those J-Team members that work 24 hours or more each week are given the option of participating in this flexible spending account. With pre-tax dollars, you can help pay for such expenses as day care or after-school programs. 

  • Adoption Assistance Reimbursement Program—Jordan’s Furniture recognizes that the adoption of a child is an important family event. Through this program, eligible employees are offered financial assistance of up to $5,000 for each adopted child to help defray some of the costs incurred when adopting a child.
