Family Income Protection

YOUR FAMILY IS OUR FAMILY when you're part of the J-Team. For that reason, full-time Jordan's Furniture employees are eligible for the following programs:

  • Basic Life Insurance—Jordan's Furniture provides group term life insurance equal to one times the employee's annual salary, with a minimum benefit of $50,000 and a maximum benefit of $325,000.
  • Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance—Jordan's Furniture provides group term life insurance equal to one times the employee's annual salary, with a minimum benefit of $50,000 and a maximum benefit of $325,000.
  • Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance—Employees can purchase supplemental life insurance and/or accidental death and dismemberment protection for themselves in $10,000 increments (up to five times annual earnings or $500,000) over and above the basic life and AD&D coverage provided by Jordan's Furniture.
  • Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance for Spouse/Domestic Partner—Employees can purchase supplemental life insurance and/or accidental death and dismemberment protection for a spouse or domestic partner in $5,000 increments, provided they have purchased additional coverage for themselves. The maximum amount is the lesser of either 50 percent of the employee's own policy amount or $250,000.
  • Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance for Children—Employees can purchase supplemental life insurance and/or accidental death and dismemberment protection for their dependents in $2,000 increments, provided they have purchased additional coverage for themselves. The maximum amount of insurances is $10,000.
  • Short-Term Disability Insurance—Jordan's Furniture provides employees with short-term disability (STD) insurance. In the event that an employee is unable to work for up to 12 weeks due to non-work-related illness or injury, this insurance will provide assistance.
  • Long-Term Disability Insurance—Jordan's Furniture provides employees with long-term disability (LTD) insurance. In the event that an employee is unable to work for more than 12 weeks due to non-work-related illness or injury, this insurance will provide assistance.
  • Supplemental Long-Term Disability Insurance—In addition to the employer-provided policy, Jordan's Furniture employees may apply to purchase supplemental long-term disability (LTD) insurance at a discount rate.
  • Identity Theft Protection – Employees can enroll in Identity Theft Protection and have piece of mind knowing your identity is being monitored to prevent it from fraud or being stolen.
